Sheriff’s Family Day is a fun community event hosted by the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Advisory Foundation. The event is held annually in September at the Madonna Meadows next to Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo.
The event is free to people of all ages and is intended to entertain and educate the public on the positive role that our local law enforcement and safety personnel play in our community, including the display of their equipment and demonstrations.
Family Day allows attendees the opportunity to participate in different activities and experience first hand the excitement and satisfaction of coming to the aid of others. It offers those who are considering public service as a career the chance to speak with other people who are already doing the job.
And just for Junior Sheriffs (up to age 12), FREE T-shirts, Hots Dogs, and Bike Raffle Tickets.
